And let’s not forget the vital support offered by the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center whose staff, working with dedicated MacDowell Chorus Life-Member Alan Schmidt, put many hours of time and effort into making the BIG SING the success that it became!

This concert celebrated the 250th Anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the document that freed our nation from the bonds of colonialism. We also celebrated, as we always do, the veterans and active duty members of our armed forces who keep our nation free. Helping us honor those brave individuals were some of their very own, members of the Appleton American Legion Johnston-Blessman Post 38 Honor Guard. Thank you all for participating and for your service to our country!
